MY BEGINNING
At first glance, the story behind my body seems simple to most people who don’t know me: this man has always had a penchant for the athletic side and it has helped his metabolism stay in shape.
Unfortunately, things have never really worked out that way. In my childhood I tried various activities such as swimming or contact sports, but the truth is that I always reached at most only mediocre level. Moreover, I have never had an “athletic constitution”, in fact I have always been prone to gain weight. From high school to college, I managed to almost double my weight, from 68 to 112 kilos, all as a consequence of a diet out of control, a mix of traditional Romanian food in large quantities, fast food and “extra sports life” with alcohol, tobacco and chaotic meals.
The even worse part, besides a disturbing physical appearance, is that when you reach a certain threshold where your body fat percentage is high, you will see that obesity does not come alone, but works as a team with lung failure, cardiac arrhythmia, extremely high blood pressure and varicose veins in the legs.
When I couldn’t climb 3 more floors without taking a break, I said STOP. That was the moment I decided to radically change my lifestyle. Initially, given how I looked and felt, the thought of having a perfect body was far from my mind. No, I simply wanted to be normal. Then, after devoting myself entirely to studying nutrition, training and testing the latest fitness concepts on my own body, the impact made me want more and more.
As a simple conclusion, what I have observed in all these years is that, without any doubt, the human body has the possibility to transform itself totally, naturally, and to reach unexpected performances through training and nutrition. The key is the correct application of scientific principles, patience, consistency and the discipline needed to follow a well-defined structure. ATAT!
In order to help others in their transformation, I continued to invest in personal development by completing the ABC Fitness School’s accredited Fitness Instructor course. I try to provide as much free information as possible using social media and youtube channel.
Later on I improved my knowledge in nutrition by obtaining the Nutrition Technician accreditation at ABC Fitness School.
Since we live in a fast-paced world, where online has become the most handy tool for information, I have made Dietaflex.ro the space where I can offer as much valuable information as possible to people interested in fitness and nutrition. Here again I will guide all those who want to optimize their results at a relatively low cost through the Online Coaching platform.
The actual name is the principle of the flexible diet, one that I have been following for years, both during periods of muscle growth and during periods of fat definition and burning, which involves structured nutrition according to the individual’s culinary preferences, while following certain macronutrient targets.
What is actually the principle of the flexible diet? Simple: as long as the quantitative requirements of macronutrients and micronutrients are respected, one can introduce, in certain periods, (controlled, of course!) also quantities of foods considered “unhealthy” without having a negative impact on the desired results. Specifically, if 90% of food is obtained from “healthy” sources, the remaining 10% can be used to introduce at certain times sources considered “unhealthy”, to have a positive psychological impact and to calm certain cravings that a person may have.
One of the things I’ve noticed over the years of studying and training is that there are many old concepts that continue to be applied by the majority of the population, concepts about fitness and nutrition, “myths” that have long since been dispelled by current science. Dietflex.ro aims to keep up with the evolution of fitness and to apply the latest scientific concepts for a very simple reason: anyone interested in getting results in a more efficient and healthy way needs a scientific approach to training and nutrition!
I believe in one basic principle: IF THERE IS NO SCIENCE BEHIND A METHOD, DON’T USE IT!
This is why I have a very calculated and qualitative approach to fitness. The human body, at a physiological level, is designed to be an efficient machine with one purpose: survival. Even though each individual is different, the principles by which our bodies lose fat, metabolise energy and gain muscle are similar.
The ways in which I achieve results both personally and with my clients are based on the scientific principles and published works of Layne Norton, Eric Helms, Lyle Mcdonald, Alan Aragon and many others.
All my approaches can be validated by scientific papers combined with experience on my own person and I never fall into the trap of offering advice or, worse, using methods by ear, methods that are not proven in practice on my own person or through clients who use personal training.
As I said earlier, the principles underlying the body’s functioning are the same, but each individual may react differently to certain methods. The truth is that THERE IS NO ONE WAY FOR EVERYONE TO GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT. One person may react totally differently to another, even if at first glance they are similar. Not everyone gets effective fat burning using the lowcarb or keto diet and vice versa, just as not everyone can tolerate large amounts of carbohydrates during the period of gaining muscle mass. The goal of a personal trainer is to track progress, making changes in both training and nutrition to provide continuous progress and to get the client to successfully cross certain thresholds where they have become stuck.
Each method is like a tool to be used at the right moment to ensure a constant evolution. Some of the methods I have used over the years with success have been:

On a professional level, the last principle gives me the strength to find a continuous desire to help the people around me to achieve the balance between 3 main factors that lead to results and create a healthy lifestyle that propels you towards personal growth:
1)The physical factor (represented by the “stimulus” at a physiological level through intense training);
2)The nutritional factor (represented by feeding the necessary nutrients in a structure beneficial for both performance and health);
3) The psychological factor (represented by the mental strength necessary for each person to find the personal motivation to continue their evolution).
By successfully combining the 3 factors, the body has only one path it can follow: PROGRESS!

Online Coaching is the virtual equivalent of Personal Training. The collaboration between the client and the trainer is done remotely, through a well-developed system, with the help of which it is possible to follow the progress of the training and the evolution of the body by respecting the nutrition. The OC is dedicated to people who are at least at the Beginner-Intermediate stage and can perform basic movements correctly.
It all revolves around a very real cliché: everyone is different! So, depending on certain physiological factors, activity level, training style, experience level, body composition, lifestyle, etc. I create a personalized nutrition for you to achieve the results you want.
Personal Training is the complete package of services: assisted workouts (2-4 sessions per week, depending on your preferences and goals), personalized nutrition plan, Cardio Protocol, strength and endurance progress tracking, unlimited questions.
Since the Training Plan is personalized, first of all the main goal must be identified: muscle mass / fat burning. Then, a preliminary assessment of experience level, strength, cardiovascular capacity is obtained and the existence of deficient muscle groups or muscle imbalances is detected. Of course, the plan is also based on the frequency of training.
